ARRT or NMTCB certification and valid drivers license required. This position is PRN (under 20 hours).

Summary: An successful applicant should be able to perform a variety of complex PET imaging and laboratory procedures with primary responsibility for completing diagnostic studies from inception to completion.This would include, but not limited to: understanding of nuclear medicine operation priciples, checking in/out radiation packages, taking accurate verbal patient histories, starting I.V.s, proper handling/injection of radiation, ability to develp imaging protocols, and maintaining a posititive imaging environment for our patients. This also entails the responsibility of acting as an active patient liasion to the radiologist.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Detail Patient Histories
2. Computer applications/scanning
3. Daily paperwork
4. Radiation Safety - package check in/out, room monitoring, wipe testing, dose calibration, proper NRC record keeping and tracking, ability to keep TM exposure to ALARA levels.
5. IV starts/injections
6. Account representative: provide account with quality film/networked images, interact as a professional with radiologist, site managers, clerical staff, and site patients.
