Job Description: Basic Purpose: To promote and sell the corporation products to prospective clients, agents and consultants and also acts as a liaison between Delta Dental and clients, agents and consultants to ensure an understanding of products and services in order to meet individual sales goals.

Principal Responsibilities:

1.Develops strategies and plans to acquire new business for the corporation in order to meet sales goals.

2.Conducts or participates in implementation meetings with new groups.

3.Develop and maintain relationships with key agents, consultants, and key decision makers to ensure sales goals are met.

4.Prepares and reviews various reports and correspondence including annual market plans, status updates and expense reports.

5.Participates in business and professional organizations to develop relationships and improve knowledge.





Requirements: Position requires a bachelor’s degree and three years experience in a sales or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

Position requires advanced verbal and written communication skills along with strong negotiating and persuading ability; the ability to analyze and resolve problems and use independent judgment. Position requires a state health insurance license or must obtain one within three months of employment.

Operation of a motor vehicle is necessary to properly implement and service groups. This job requires a well-maintained vehicle manufactured by Chrysler, Ford, or General Motors.
