Role Specific: • Support of Fiber Optic Value Stream / systems through continuous improvement, auditing, verification, training and hands on floor involvement. • Resolve repeated quality concerns, process and product related. • Identify, measure risk of escape, and contain product qualityb concerns. • Be proactive in identifying production / process related quality concerns. • Work with all quality personnel in the timely maintenance of the MRB system. • Interaction with source inspectors, address quality related concerns • Responsible for understanding and recommend measuring equipment, test fixtures, and procedures for as appropriate.
Education and Experience: General for Level: • High School Diploma or GED. • 5 years minimum experience in manufacturing environment with increasing levels of quality related responsibilities. • Technical degree or trade certificate preferred. • ASQ, CQA, CQT, certifications strongly preferred.
Role Specific: • Fluent when working with mathematical expressions and manipulations of; fractions, decimal, positive and negative numbers. • Experience handling metal, plastic and fiber components. • Working in and around a very clean manufacturing environment.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: General for Level: • Ability to work in an environment with limited supervision. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Ability to work with little or no notice of overtime when needed, including weekend hours. • Fluent in reading technical drawings, specifications and procedures. • Able to write procedures with limited supervision. • Fluent computer skills related to of MSOffice programs, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook
Role Specific: • Goal, data oriented driven • Define appropriate measuring tool given the dimensional requirements. • Recognize and analyze patterns and trends in data. • Provide feedback to engineering / management regarding specifications and procedures and their application.
