The basic function of the delivery driver is to deliver product to customers’ homes. Comply with company policies and procedures.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are essential in the daily execution of the position: Complete a daily truck inspection using checklist Prep the product for their deliveries and load their trucks Make customer contact as necessary to communicate scheduled arrival Upon arrival, conduct a site survey with the customer, addressing all concerns and issues Make the complete delivery. Deliver product, move old appliance, complete the appropriate hookup. Haul away old product or anything to complete the delivery process Before departure, conduct a site survey with customer, identifying any problems and correcting them Stay in contact with dispatch team concerning delivery completion and all delivery issues Complete check in and check out through automated system Operate and maintain all electronic devices issued by hhgregg Once deliveries are complete, the route must be checked in, trucks must be unloaded, returned products must have a copy of the invoice on the returned product with the reason, and the trade-ins must be unloaded in the trade-in area Truck box must be swept out after truck is unloaded All equipment must be maintained and cleaned Perform other duties deemed necessary by the delivery supervisor or director of operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: High school education (or equivalent) 3 years experience in related field Clean MVR and operator license required Must obtain DOT physical card Must complete driver certification course and training
