The primary responsibility of the Receiving Coordinator associate is to communicate with manufacturer representatives and truck carriers to schedule incoming shipments to the Central Distribution Center.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities are essential in the daily execution of the position:
•When an appointment is requested, checks to make sure the PO is for the correct CDC
•Ensuring product is scheduled within our receiving guidelines by vendor or buyers.
•Collecting bill of ladings from carriers and directing to receiving docks.
•Daily communication with buyers in regards to the arrival of product.
•Responsible for following procedures around our facility gate operating system.
•Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
•Solid computer skills and use of Microsoft Excel and Word
•Good Organizational skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
•High school education (or equivalent)
•Flexible Schedule, able to work 1st or 2nd Shift, Weekends and Holidays
•Prior customer service experience preferred
•Solid Understanding of hhgregg internal systems ( POS and HP Systems) is a plus
